Courtesy Acura and the Makenna Foundation are teaming up once again for the annual Courtesy Fun Day on Monday, June 18. This is the 14th year for this fun (sweet!) event.

It all takes place at the University Club of Kentucky — you know, the members-only club where the UK men’s and women’s golf teams train? With all the beauty of the Kentucky countryside and the beautiful challenges of 36 holes of golf? Yes, that one.

There are 200 golfers slated to participate in this year’s event. Always room for one more, so register now!

The Fun Day begins at 11 a.m. with lunch (yeah, yeah, carb-loading is fine). At 12:00 sharp the golfers hit the course. Along the way, the players (that’s you) will have a chance to participate in several contests designed to raise additional funds for the Makenna Foundation and add some friendly competition to the day.

And hey, if you don’t know a bunker from your banker or a fairway from the freeway, no problem. We love volunteers at all Makenna Foundation events. If you’d like to participate in the Courtesy Fun Day Golf Outing without a wood or putter, call Sheila and say you’d like to volunteer.

What’s the hole-in-one prize, you ask? Because we know you’ve been practicing. Why, it’s a new car. That’s right. Courtesy Acura will provide a new Acura as the hole-in-one prize.
